This is a plant medicine retreat centered around three nights of ayahuasca ceremony, offered within a luxury, integrative, and supportive retreat environment in Nosara, Costa Rica.

The PLAE™ Luxury VIP Retreat (Psychedelic Language Activation & Encoding—pronounced play) is designed for those who feel called to deep inner work without suffering, force, or overwhelm. The intention is healing in flow—healing while being in paradise, supported by beauty, connection, and nervous system regulation.

Hosted at the stunning Portal de Mística retreat center, this experience weaves together ceremonial work, integration, embodiment practices, and spacious vacation-style living.

✨ The PLAE™ Approach

PLAE™ is based on the understanding that profound transformation does not require struggle. Through Psychedelic Language Activation & Encoding, participants are guided into states of flow and coherence, where insight, healing, and recalibration arise naturally rather than through effort or intensity.

This retreat is intentionally small and intimate, with a maximum of 12 participants, allowing the group to move together in safety, trust, and energetic alignment. Couples are welcome.

🌿 Plant Medicine Ceremonies

The retreat includes:

Three nights of ayahuasca ceremony

One optional night of bufo (5-MeO-DMT) for those who feel called

Ayahuasca ceremonies are a core part of the retreat and are held with reverence, preparation, and integration support. The optional bufo ceremony is offered as an additional opportunity for participants who wish to explore this medicine; participation is entirely by choice.

Strong emphasis is placed on integration, grounding, and nervous system care, ensuring that insights can be embodied and meaningfully integrated into daily life.

In addition to retreat programming, participants will have the opportunity (at additional cost) to enjoy Costa Rica’s natural beauty through optional excursions, including:

👩‍⚕️ About the Facilitator

The retreat is facilitated by Dr. Rebecca Sullivan, an experienced guide and integrative medicine practitioner who has trained with indigenous shamans since 2014. She has worked alongside primary care and mental health practices and is the founder of AWAKE Academy, where she teaches integrative energy medicine and consciousness-based modalities.

Dr. Sullivan lives in Nosara, Costa Rica, and brings a grounded, trauma-aware, and deeply respectful approach to ceremonial work—bridging ancient traditions with modern integration and safety.
